After 30 years, my mother finally returned to Afrin; my sister and I were by her side. Together, we walked the land of our roots, where every olive tree holds a memory for her.

About us

Dahly Olive Oil is born from our family’s roots in Afrin, a region in Rojava celebrated for its ancient olive groves and timeless traditions. For generations, families like ours have tended these trees, passing down knowledge and care as naturally as the seasons themselves. It has been more than thirty years since my parents last set foot in Afrin, yet with every drop of Dahly, the land still speaks: through its scent, its taste, and its spirit.

Today, that land and its people face growing challenges. Olive groves that once stood as symbols of abundance and heritage are under constant pressure. But year after year, my relatives continue the harvest, guided by resilience and devotion. With their hands, they preserve not only the grove itself, but the memory of those who came before, and the promise of those yet to come.

With Dahly, I hope to give something back. To bring attention to this threatened, beautiful piece of heritage. To offer something that isn’t just a product, but a connection, a liquid memory of our roots.

Our olive oil is 100% pure, and cold-pressed. Nothing more, nothing less. You can taste that honesty. That care. The olives from our region have a rich, earthy flavor, with a smooth, almost buttery finish and a subtle spiciness that lingers just long enough to remind you: this is something special.

I don’t see this as a product, but as a piece of heritage. A liquid reminder of our roots. Small in size, rich in meaning.
